Today, I am happy to announce the next release of Payment Form, version 5.7.0. This version has the following improvements:
1. Support Server Validation For Custom Field
We added a new setting called
Server Validation Rules to allow you to validate your custom field data using the built-in validators or even writing your own validator. See

for documentation, it's written for a different extension but it works well for Payment Form (we will update documentation of Payment Form with this feature later)
2. Added Populate From Previous Payment Setting
By default, when customers logged in and process payment via Payment Form, the data from previous payments will be used to populate form data automatically to save time of processing payment. If for some reasons you want to disable this populating, just set that parameter to No
3. Fixed some small issues
- Typo causes billing zip code (for Square up payment gateway) not being displayed properly
- Fix fatal error when captcha is not checked
- Handle Publish Up and Publish Down setting for form properly
