Limit the Payment Openings

Is there a way, in the Payment Form, to make a form that only allows a limited number of submissions. Say you have a payment for a dinner registration and there are only 100 spots. Can I limit the form to only allow 100 submissions?

Unfortunately, it is not possible. Maybe you can write a plugin so that when number of payments reach the limit, it will unpublish the form automatically

Writing a plugin like this will take about 2 - 3 hours of working and will cost you 30$.
