Errors Submitting Form using eWay payment

Hi, We have set up our Payment Forms for use with Eway. When submitting the form, we are unable to get past the first submission page...

Sorry, your payment is not able to be processed..
Reason
58,Function Not Permitted to Terminal

I noticed in component/com_pmform/payments/os_eway.php there is a reference to "setCardHolderName" on line 237
However, ever other reference to this in this script appears to be "setCardHoldersName" (notice the 's')v Is this an error?
However when I change this, the form will not load, and I get an empty white page.

Are you able to confirm the EWAY payment option in Payment Forms is working OK? I am using a test visa card #4444333322221111
see www.eway.com.au/support/testing-sandbox )

Thanks for your (URGENT?) help! Client hoping his site can go live today if possible.

regards,
Geoff

Hi Geoff

There was a typing mistake in the code. Could you please get this updated file, unzip it and upload it to components/com_pmform/payments folder of your site ?

After that, please test it again and let me know the result !

Excellent thanks Tuan - will try it now. First can I confirm it won't delete or erase any of the forms we have already set up?

thanks,
Geoff

I Tuan, I replaced the php file as directed, and got the same error:

Reason
58,Function Not Permitted to Terminal

I changed the setting in the Payment Plugin settings to "Test" instead of "Live" and tried again.

This time I got the error:

Sorry, your payment is not able to be processed..
Reason
Not a valid eWAY Customer Id

However, the number we are using is valid.

Still a bug? - Or am I doing something incorrectly?

thanks,
Geoff

Hi Geoff

From the error message returned by the payment plugin, it seems you don't enter a correct Eway customer ID. Does Eway provide phone call support ? If yes, could you please make a phone call to ask them to check it for you ? They should log the transaction and It will be easy for them to check it !

I ran into the same issue with getting the error message: Not a valid eWay Customer Id

And solved it by:

I have just solved this issue. I contacted eWay and they said that in test mode you have to use a specific Test Customer ID of  87654321 and use the credit card number: 4444333322221111 You need to use rounded numbers such as $10.00 or $20.00 You can use any Name and any CVN number but the expiry date has to be a future date.

I did all that and the test worked perfectly. I got a Registration Completed page with all the transaction details.
