Translation of core Fields

Hi All,
I am setting up a Site Including payment Form in a 2 Language environment, englisch and German.
Both languages are installed in joomla 2.5.4 and beeing reckognized by the payment Form component. I translated every given field and the translation is not working for the core Fields.
Can somebody help, what am I missing?
