Apply Venue Feature was created by junwei
What does Apply Venue Feature do? How is the disable date from/to affects the Date From and Date To in the Appointment Booking Menu Item: Default layout
Doesn't matter if I turn on/off the 'Apply Venue Feature' flag, it still will apply the venue settings no matter what. Is this supposed to be the default behavior?

Hi,
If you just need to enable booking in a time period, you just need to setup menu to layout: OS Services Booking - Default Layout and select Start and End time in menu parameters form
Thanks

That configure option can be used when you have just one venue in OS Services Booking system. Normally, when you want to apply Venue feature into OS Services Booking, you should implement below steps:
- In Venue modification form, you should select Services which are placed in this Venue.
- when you assign Employee to Service, if the Service is placed in more than one Venue, you should select Venue that the Employee will work on.
- when you setup menu to layout: OS Services Booking - Default layout, you need to select Venue from parameter: Venue in Menu parameters form.
But with the configure option: "Apply Venue Feature", you will just need to do the first step, but all venue feature like: "Disable booking before", "Disable booking after"...etc will still be applied.

Ok from what you are saying is, I do not turn that on if I have more than one venue.
If I only have one venue and I turn 'Apply Venue Feature' on, I only need to select the services in Venue modification form. When I assign service to employee, I do not need to select Venue the employee will work on?
If I have more than one venue and I turn 'Apply Venue Feature' on, nothing will happen?
I am still unclear what are the benefits of doing this actually.

Ok, I understand this part where it will do something if I have only 1 venue.
The part I am still slightly confused about is what does it do?

This function makes it easier for users to include venue features into Booking system instead of implement all 3 mentioned steps to apply those features.
