No use for categories, venues and emplyees was created by Rickard Dahl
I just installed os services booking and begin to think about what booking concepts to use.

A booking in my case is a triple user - service - timeperiod, for example:
user22 - sauna - 2018-06-30, 12-17. user33 - tennis - 2018-06-23 10-11.

I do not have use for employees (of course I can register one if os services needs that to work)

How should I use os booking services in my simple domain?
Should I just ignore categories, venues and employees? It does not seem to work well then as far as I can see.

Hi,
You don't need to use Categories, Venues if you want. But Employees are necessary in OS Services Booking system. So you should create at least one default "employee", of course, you can use Translation tool at Back-end of OS Services Booking to change it to another mean.
The workflow is:
1. User select service they want to book
2. You have default employee, so user don't need to select employee, they just need to select timeslot
3. Complete checkout, confirmation form(optional) and payment (optional) to activate the booking request.
Thanks
Dam

Thanks for good and useful advice!

I have configurated one employee for each service and then removed payment and confirmation actions/info to make it simple..
Quite a lot is working very well now, but I have some issues:

- It is not possible to select several timeslots in one day and then book them, when one slot is selected the previous selection is removed. One could of course select one, book it and then select one more and book that one, but that is not so convenient. (we would like to reserve tennis court by half hours and then you need 4 different orders for 2 hours of play)

- In the customer layout screen one can see personal orders and remove them if needed. But only some of the orders have a remove-marking and I cannot figure out if there is a pattern. In some of my tests one service is removable and not the other, but in other tests some orders of a service are removable but not others.

- How can a trusted agent make bookings for people that do not want to use computers? Is it possible in front-end? What parameter is used to identify customers. I tried to change name in an order to make a booking for someone else, but it did not seem to work.
