I'm building real estate website using OS property component. It's very nice and helpful component by the way. I need your support to build it, so I created this thread for documenting my project. I hope this allowed, thank you

1. my website will be bilingual (engilsh:default, and bahasa). which is recommended? using falang extension or joomla native language support? fyi, I've just setup falang in my website. but if using native language support is recommended, I'll move.
2. in the instruction document, told, if I want to setup native language support, I should create lang_code.com_osproperty.ini and lang_code.com_osproperty.sys.ini . what is the content of lang_code.com_osproperty.sys.ini ? I did'nt find inside default language(english), I just found en-EN.com_osproperty.ini over there but not en-EN.com_osproperty.sys.ini .
thank you

1. OS Property supports multiple languages. So you don't need to use third party extensions. You only need to install other language packages into Joomla, setup multiple languages. After that you will be able to translate OS Property data from native language to other languages.
2. there are 2 folders, so you need to pay attention in this part
root > language > lang_code > lang_code.com_osproperty.ini
and
root > administrator > language > lang_code > lang_code.com_osproperty.ini
root > administrator > language > lang_code > lang_code.com_osproperty.sys.ini
Thanks

Please click on My download at the top, you will see the link to download the latest version (2.6.2). You can install file com_osproperty.zip normally without remove existing current version, you won't need to replace files also. But you can backup your site for safe reason.
Thanks

hello again,
so I've done with following steps.
1. download the last version os property 2.6.2
2. upload into directory tmp
3. extract there, and do install from directory (tmp)
after installation, I got all my properties are removed from table. luckily this all is just trial, and I've backed up my database. then I restore my backup, but I got this error:
am I doing wrong on update process?

The reason of problem
1. In old site, you are using 2 languages (i'm not sure). But one of 2 that languages has language-prefix is : id. So the system add new one column in agent profile table called : bio_id. So when you create the backup version of database, the table will have column: bio_id
2. When you install new version of OS Property, your db table doesn't have that column, so when you restore db, you will have that error.
The solution now is you setup multiple languages feature for your new OS Property before restore db.
By the way, i don't know why after installing new version of OS Property, your properties are lost. Can you submit ticket and send your site information with super admin. So i can check the problem?
Thanks

oh yes, thank you, it solved, thank you. by the way, is there any way to rebuild the thumbnails? . when I insert data properties, the images resized to 60px (small) and 300px (medium) . lately I changed thumbnail and medium image size from configuration->images to 120px (small) and 600px (medium) . in the detail property page, the image still use 300px size. I want to use 600px instead.
oh yes, after upgrading, thumbnails in /administrator/index.php?option=com_osproperty&task=properties_list become smaller
I 'll submit ticket of my project. thank you

I have just checked in your site. When you change the configure of medium or thumbnail size, you must re-upload the pictures. Because system already create medium or thumbnail pictures with old coordinates. One more thing, you hacked in OS Property to replace slideshow by Fotorama slideshow. In this case, we aren't able to figure why the size of pictures at property details is 350px. I think you need to check the source code of Fotorama, because it seems the width and height size of gallery are hard code.
Thanks
