Availability of Market Statuses on the Quick Search RH Module was created by Elba Maria
Now we have few market statuses available. We should have it available on the Quick Search Real Homes Module as we have types.

Hi Elba,
I am not sure with your idea, that search module doesn't have Market status search option.
Thanks
Dam

Exactly Dam! That's what I mean, we should have them. You even did it to look like that on your demo. We should have buttons "for sale", "for rent", etc. on the quick search module because this is usually the way most people search for homes.

Yes, Dam; but in reality "types" are not "for sale, for rent, sold, etc."; those are market statuses because it's the status of the sale of the property. If we are going to use the features of OSP correctly, that's the way to go. I was doing it as you said "before", but I changed it once you had all the statuses in the new version. Now, I can't go back and change it because it will affect all the properties published severely and I will have to go 1x1 changing them, so I have to keep going.
For example: a HOUSE (category), can be a SINGLE FAMILY, TOWNHOUSE, MULTIFAMILY, or a DUPLEX (types). Those same houses could be 1 for sale, 1 for rent, 1 already sold, another one rented... etc.

Hi there, it's been over a year and you haven't fixed this neither fixed the issue of not having all the new market statuses on the dropdown "market status" when creating a menu item with "Layout Property Listings".
This needs to be fixed.

Hi Elba,
Thank you for your clarification.
In OS Property, we are structuring the data as follows:
1. Categories refer to the type of real estate, for example: apartment, villa, townhouse, office, etc.
2. Property Types are used to define the purpose of the property, such as for sale, for rent, for joint venture, or upcoming projects that are about to be launched, etc.
3. Market Statuses act as flags or labels for properties, for example: hot, featured, or they can be used for other purposes such as indicating legal status, or marking properties as fully rented, etc.
This structure helps us manage and display properties more efficiently and flexibly according to various business needs.
Thanks
Dam

I understand all that, but you added more statuses in one of the upgrades to the component. What you're talking about isn't even my current complaint. My complaint is that you added them to the configuration but the NEW ones don't come up on the dropdown when creating menus with "Layout Property Listing".
Look at all the options we have on the configuration menu for properties:
Sold
Current
Rented
Off market
For Sale
For Rent
Sale Pending
When we want to create a menu with ONLY "Sale Pending", for example, we can't because it's not available on the dropdown. The new ones you created for the rest of the component, and that we can use while creating properties, is NOT available in the dropdown. In my case, I think you helped me with this before. However, I had to recreate one of the menus recently, and I had to go to the database to make the necessary changes directly. This way, the page for that menu now shows only what the customer wants to display.
This was my complaint before, and you mentioned that you were going to fix, but it was never fixed.

Just for clarification (which is not my argument on this thread)... your statement is not correct:
- Categories in real estate are a broad classification of the purpose or use of the property. They are used to narrow the search to the kind of property buyers are interested in based on its general purpose. Like residential, commercial, industrial, and land.
- Types are more specific sub-classifications within a category — they describe the structure or format of the property. Examples are house, apartment (residential), or Warehouse, office (commercial).
- Market status indicates the current availability and sale stage of a property. Examples are for sale, active, pending, rented, etc. These are accurately listed and can be activated in the properties configuration tab of OSP.

Hi Elba,
I understand that your usage of these terms may be different from the logic used in OS Property. However, you can always use the language override tool in OS Property to change the labels and terminology to match your preferences.
Thanks
Dam
