Bug(?) Field Mapping

I have created a custom field of type list and filled it with values (screenshot 01-List-Field-Settings.png). I have set up a field mapping for this (sreenshot 02-Field-Mapping.png). The dropdown is displayed correctly in the account information (screenshot 03-Account-Information.png). However, this is only mapped with the reverse entry. Text and label are then swapped (screenshot 04-Custom-User-Field-List.png).

I still do not understand the actual issue here. Could you please explain more details? Exactly what's wrong ?

Hi Tuan,

the synchronization only works if I swap text and value information (screenshot 04-Custom-User-Field-List.png) in the Joomla user custom field. This means that the value is specified as a label. So the order in this list is reversed.

That sound strange. The Values from Membership Pro will be Mapped with Values in Joomla custom fields

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to enable this access. But the problem can be easily replicated using the screenshots.

Your screenshot about custom field setting does not look good to me. The default values is wrong

It should contains one of the option entered in Values setting of the field to make that option default selected when user access to registration form of the event,

Seems you want it to be the the text for the option and it is not right

Yes exactly, that's the problem If I don't do it this way, the fields are not mapped.

No, the Default Values setting of the field is not something affect to the mapping. It will just control what option is selected when someone visit registration form

I'll leave it as it is. I was just worried that this behavior would be changed in a future update. If it only occurs in our case, I'll leave it as it is.
