admin emails not being sent

I can't seem to get most of the emails to send. I set up a recurring subscription plan that offered a 14 day free trial for a recurring monthly subscription and have stripe in test mode. I am able to process the payment in test mode and one single email goes out to the subscriber when I approve them. It is the email that says:

Your subscription for [plan] has just been approved by administrator. Your subscription detail is as follow:

I have an admin email address to recieve the admin notifications but none go out. Also I set up a Subscription for [PLAN_TITLE] plan confirmation email but that one does not go out. I do have email logs turned on so I can see what is being generated in the backend in case emails were getting lost in transit but these admin emails and additional other emails are not being generated. I even tried turning off the free trial to see if that was why the emails were not going out but it still does not work. Any ideas as to why these other emails are not being triggered to go out?

Hi Alex

You will need to setup Stripe webhook for the payment plugin to work. Depends on which one you are using (MP Stripe or MP Stripe Checkout), you will need to setup it in a different ways:

Please setup the Stripe Webhook, then check it again and let me know if you still need help

Ahhh that makes sense. I have it in sandbox mode. I set up a webhook already but is there a way to set up a sandbox webhook? I put the real one in the stripe checkout plugin and it is not working.

On Stripe Dashboard, there is a link (I don't remember correctly) like View Test Data. You can click on that link to setup webhook (and see data) in test mode

Thanks ... with test webhook set up now the subscriber is automatically activated and both email go out. If anyone else is having troubles with this note that you do have to toggle test mode in stripe as Tuan said and then you have the option to set up a test webhook. It will not work with the live webhook when in test mode.
