Making Avatar a required field

I am working on a site that has a free membership but requires the following:

1. That the avatar is a required field
2. That the account only become created after confirmation/activation by the admin

Is there a way to do this both

I tried to access the documentation server but did not get to the answer.

I am sorry, I missed your post. Below are my answer to your questions:

1. Right now, the avatar is only an optional field, it is not required

2. If you want the user account only created after subscription become active, go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Only create user account when membership active/approved config option to Yes

By doing that, user account won't be created when user enters data on subscription form, only after subscription is active (users make payment or admin approve the subscription manually)

Can I create a field to take JPEG and make it re required to take a passport photograph. is this posible, will it display the photograph

That won't work, unfortunately. So I guess you will have to customize code to make the avatar become required field

Try to look at the file components/com_osmembership/model/register.php, method validate , add some code to make sure the avatar is uploaded and it should solve your issue
