Paypal and Card Recurring Or Not?

Our site allows users to subscribe to our site with different levels, with different payments but currently use Credit and Debit cards to sign up and we use Stripe. I have a few issues at the moment with this.

1. It has worked quite well up to this point, yet there are times when payment has failed to be taken with an error message stating 'Charge failed'. This may be a stripe issue, but user has not cancelled their membership (no notification email to myself as admin).

2. We need to add Paypal recurring subscription and realise that more and more people are using these types of services rather than inserting card details. Can we change our settings and have Paypal as the main source of payment for signup, alongside our debit card sign ups?

3. If we can only have paypal installed as a the payment method or debit card and not both, what will happen to all current subscribers who have used their bank card to sign up to our recurring service.

I hope this is clear and any assistance with this matter would be great.

1=> This issue is clearly related to Stripe. For some reasons, Stripe could not process the payment, and the error message is expected (that error message is actually returned by Stripe). Currently, we don't send email to user/admin when a payment is failed (for example, wrong credit card is entered...)

2=> Yes, you can publish and use os_offline payment plugin in this case. When you do that, users can choose to subscribe and make payment using PayPal (redirects to PayPal for processing payment) or using Stripe (enter credit card number directly on the site). If you prefer to use PayPal, then change ordering of the payment plugin so that it is located at the top

3=> Nothing prevents you to use more than one payment methods

Ok thanks for your feedback Tuan. My developer has stated that it does not automatically have recurring monthly / annual subscription using Paypal and Card. If user chooses to use paypal instead on a monthly subscription, will this monthly payment be taken without anything needed to be done by us or the user, or will the user need to manually renew this monthly subscription themselves? If it does allow both automatic Debit/Credit card and Paypal payment options, how can we implement this and ensure all processes are automated?

It should be automatic if your plan is a recurring subscription plan. Could you please send me a screenshot of the plan setting so that I can confirm if it is properly configured?
