Subscribed user can't see subscriber-only content was created by jr
I encountered a problem accessing subscriber-only content using a subscriber login.
I originally created the login by registering to a Membership Pro (MP) subscription plan. MP processed the subscription by linking to a PayPal Sandbox account, where the payment completed successfully.
So at this point the test login has a subscription that gives it access to all of our site's restricted content.
The steps I took:
1. In a different on-line session, I logged in to our site's front end using the test login.
2. I displayed an article having a restricted (subscriber-only) section. (On the back end, I'd coded the article using {mprestriction ids="x"} . . . {/mprestriction} around the restricted section.)
3. Rather than displaying the restricted section, Joomla displayed MP's "click here to subscribe" link.
4. After I clicked on the "subscribe" link, Joomla displayed the MP subscription plans.
My questions:
a. Because a subscribed user was logged in, in step 2 above I expected the article to display the restricted content--not the "subscribe" link. Why didn't the restricted content display?
b. Why did the subscription plans display, as a subscribed user was logged in?
