Hi Tuan, I copied this from my other post as its a separate issue.
I have a upgrade problem that was there before upgrade, so not as a result of new upgrade mod.
When someone upgrades from a free account (I call it taster account, which has its own joomla groups: Registered/Taster Member) their payment goes through fine and I getthe relevant emails to confirm a subscription, but they lose account access and I have to go into users and manually enable their account.
Im pretty sure im doing something wrong with the process of moving them from a free member to a paid member (the joomla group for a paid member should be: Registered/Subscriber)

Hi, I'll try...
I have a free membership account (trial account) which has restricted access to a trial exam. This membership only lasts one day.
The trial account has joomla user groups: Registered and Taster Membership.
I generally send out a 20% discount coupon to encourage them to upgrade.
When they upgrade the transaction goes through fine, but they dont automatically get access to the full membership content. The full membership content has joomla groups: registered and subscriber.
Invariably I get an email from them to say they paid but cant see any of the learning material (restricted content), so I have to manually change their joomla groups to Registered/Subsrciber, and then everything is fine.
Its manageable but would be good to get it seemless if possible.
