Problem: Same user with multiple subscriptions! was created by Justyne
The website has 4 membership plans. The idea is that each member has one membership plan that they choose. Unfortunately, one of the users was logged in, and another person (using the same computer) signed up for a membership. So now i have two members who have the same username.
How do I prevent this from happening in the future- like some sort of message that will pop up when they go to sign up for a subscription that says - [user], you already have a subscription to [subscription name]. Are you sure you want to change your subscription?
Right now the system just lets them have multiple kinds of subscriptions, and worse it lets them fill out all the info for their profile as a differnt person. help!!!

Hi
I don't understand. You don't want users to renew the subscription (sign up for it's twice) ? If you really want that, please edit the subscription plan, set Enable Renewal to No and It will solve the problem !

No, that's not what I meant- sorry!
Here's the website:
www.maconbar.org
Basically, if I was logged in (and I already had a subscription plan), the system shouldn't allow me to sign up for another one without some sort of warning that my current subscription has already been signed up for and is NOT expired.
Right now, it lets them sign up for multiple plans under the same username. And the worst part is it lets them sign up for multiple people under the same username, which is what we don't want.

Hi
So in this case, you want to have :
1. When a user try to sign up for the second plan, we will warn them before allow them to continue with the subscription ?
2. "And the worst part is it lets them sign up for multiple people under the same username, which is what we don't want"
=> I don't know what we should do to prevent it now. Could you please let us know how you want it to work ?
