in Europe we have the problem of the GDPR. Many websites now go about offering an ad-free version of the website for a fee.
If you don't want that, you can choose the advertising variant, but then with all the consequences.
The idea: extend your donation with the Consent Banner, which must comply with the guidelines of the GDPR. How this works can be seen at www.spiegel.de
