I don't think this function is currently supported but please let me know if I am missing something.
I would like to charge the setup fee to any member who doesn't action his renewal before expiry of their subscription.
This could be implemented either with a yes/no setting in config to recharge setup fee if no active subscription, or to allow a renewal option with -n days and -n% discount. I think recharging the setup fee would look better on the invoice.
I already have one site where I have had to implement a messy workaround using more than one subscription plan controlled by user group access so that expired members have to "upgrade" to a new plan with a setup fee but it would be so much better if a late renewal fee could be simply applied to a plan.
