Which Paypal Plugin ?

First of all, I wish you a very Happy New Year !

I'm trying the paypal feed for a new site through the Paypal Sandbox. It seems to work except for two things:
- no email is sent after the return to our site
- the “Paid” status is inactive, and I have to manually set it (and still no email is sent).

As for the emails, I should point out that for offline donations everything works perfectly.

So, I'm wondering if I've got the right Paypal plugin for our needs, but I'm a bit lost with the different Paypal plugins. I don't know which one is right for us: the one that comes with JOOMDonation? JD Paypal Pro? JD Payflow Pro? JD Paypal Standard Checkout?

We're using our Pro Paypal account to receive donations, and we'd like to offer the option of a one-off payment (by Paypal account or credit card) or a regular donation. Ideally, we'd like the “Paid” status to be automatically activated in JoomDonation once the payment has been made.

Can you give me some advice or point me in the right direction to solve the problem of email in test mode?

It might happen because PayPal IPN is disabled in your PayPal account. Please:

Follow the instructions at developer.paypal.com/api/nvp-soap/ipn/IPNSetup to enable PayPal IPN in the PayPal account which receive payment on your site. PayPal will ask for IPN URL, simply enter URL of your site into that parameter

After that, try to make donation again, make payment, and let us know the result. If it still doesn't work, please submit ticket in category: Joom Donation and send us super admin account of your site so that we can check and correct it for you

Thank you, that's a good idea. Paypal's IPN is activated but points to the current site, not the test site I'm currently developing.

I'll do a test by changing the URL address to point to my test site.
I'll keep you posted on the results of my tests.

Ich habe die Zahlungsmöglichkeit mit PayPal eingerichtet. Die Zahlung funktioniert auch, aber nach der Rückkehr zur Website wird an den Kunden keine Bestätigungsmail mit Rechnung geschickt und die Buchung des Kunden wird im System nicht registriert.. Der Kunde erhält auf seinem Bildschirm die Bestätigung seiner Buchung.. Der Admin bekommt keine Nachricht über die Buchung.

Wenn die Zahlung für die Buchung offline (per Überweisung) erfolgen soll, ist alles in Ordnung und die Mails an den Kunden und an den Administrator werden verschickt.
Was habe ich bei den Einstellungen des Programms falsch gemacht? Ich würde mich freuen, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte

Können Sie mir einen Rat oder Hinweis geben?

If the status of the donation record is still Pending, then something is still wrong. Could you please login to your PayPal account (which receives payment), then access to this page www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-ipns-history

On that page, you should see list of IPN messages. Click on a message (related to payment for the last donation in Joom Donation) to see the details and send me the screenshot of that message

Base on the data from there, I will check and guide you to check it further (maybe it's still being blocked or even IPN is disabled on your PayPal account and we will have to enable it)
