The Joom Donation developer team are proud to announce the release of Joom Donation 5.10.4. This is a fifth release for the 5.10.x series of Joom Donation with new feature and bugs fixed.
What's new in Joom Donation 5.10.4
1. Add campaign categories
From this version, Joom Donation will support campaign categories. It allows you to divide campaigns into different categories depending on specific purposes, which is useful in case you use Joom Donation for different donation targets.

After creating categories, you can assign campaigns to them. Of course, it's not mandatory.

2. Support Joomla media for campaign photos
Now, instead of uploading photos for campaigns directly, you can select existing pictures from Joomla media folder.


3. Support JD Captcha
We already released JD Captcha for Joomla extensions. In case you want to use JD Captcha in Donation form, you can enable configure option: Use JD Captcha to activate it.

4. Add option to register Joomla user once donation is complete
When configure option: "Only create account when donation is activated", the Joomla user account will only be created when user complete the online payment (Donation successfully). You can enable this configure option to avoid fake Joomla user accounts. This feature only be applied in Default Donation layout, because it includes Registration form in Donation form.

5. Improve modules: JD Campaigns, JD Donors
We add campaign categories parameter in these modules to allow to filter data at frontend

6. Fix issues in previous versions

• Add Show/hide columns in management pages
• Fix minor issues in previous versions

Two questions:
1. When creating a new company or editing your own, is it possible to immediately set a category from the front-end?
2. When displaying companies from the menu, is it possible to choose to display not the company ID, but the category IDs? To show companies only from selected categories?
I didn't find any options that would allow this.
