Import donors to new Joomla site was created by Jonas Clark
Hello
We have recently developed a new Joomla site and now we want to import-export the donor list to the new site. We tried CSV import-export but it didn't work. Now we are trying to import the donors from the database but we see only 81 entries on the donor list. We have 1661 entries on the old donor list. When I checked the database import status, I got this errorErrorSQL query:
MySQL said:#1050 - Table 'gbcmb_jd_donors' already exists
Please guide me in importing the entries.

Hi Jonas,
OK, you can follow below steps to migrate data of Joom Donation from old site to new site
1. Using PHPMyAdmin to export all Joom Donation tables of old version to .sql file. The Joom Donation DB table will have the prefix (#__jd...). For example: jos_jd_donors.
2. Open .sql file by Notepad and replace the prefix of old database by prefix of new database.
3. Import modified .sql file into new Joomla database site. Because in .sql file, you add option "Drop tables if exists", so even in new site, you already installed Joom Donation. You won't have any issue in this step.
4. Re-install new Joom Donation version in new site.
Good luck
Dam

Thanks, Dam for the quick response.
I actually did all these steps except for the option "Drop tables if exists",
Please guide me on where to add this option

Thank you for sharing. I have been trying to import the database file for 2 days, and a new issue has come up each time. I have been able to import about 662 records. Now I am facing a new problem with permission.
error in processing request error code 500
Please help me in importing the donor list.
It should be very simple like csv import.
