So I just realized when I started to use campaigns that this then forces me to stop using the standard form. I had been using a standard donation form for years on the site to collect non-specific donations and then we wanted to raise money for a new trailer to haul supplies so I turned on campaigns. The campaign expired and now the standard donation form is getting credited to this expired campaign. Come to find out you can use one or the other, not both. What is that about?

I work for many nonprofit organizations and am really confused by supports refusal to have both of these functioning side by side. The people running these organizations are all confused as well and asking me why it's set up this way. They clearly serve 2 different purposes and need to be working at the same time.

Here's why:

A nonprofit organization wants to take general donations all the time without any goal or expiration date to deal with. It's just standard practice. They then may want to use the campaign function to raise money for a certain onetime specific thing. This is where a money goal and expiration date comes in to play.

Making this extension one or the other is beyond me. Support must not understand how an actual nonprofit operates and refuses to add this to the extension.

It's such a shame too because these would work so well together separately.

Some community feedback would be nice to get this featured added.
