User roles assignement was created by Gianluca Grotto
I'm new of this product, and i'm trying to understand how to associate a User role to a joomla user.
The manual is very essential so please, is there any one that can explain me that?
Thanks
Gianluca

Hi Gianluca
1. Users : These are normal registered users. They go to your site, access to Helpdesk Pro submit ticket page to submit support ticket
2. Staffs: If you have staffs in your system which you want to assign individual tickets to them, you can follow the instructions at docs.joomdonation.com/helpdeskpro/plugins/assign-ticket to setup staffs and can assign them to support ticket you want (on that doc, there is a missing step: Go to Helpdesk Pro -> Configuration, set Staff Group config option to the Staff user group you created earlier)
3. Managers :
- Managers can manage all tickets which he is assigned as the manager for the category
- Edit the category, enter username of the users you want to be managers of that category into Managers setting
4. Admin :
- Usually be super users or administrators on your site. Admin can manage tickets from all categories in the system
Hope my explanation are clear to you. Please let me know if you have any questions
Regards,
Tuan

I'm the Manager\Administrator, and in my FrontEnd grid appears the AssignedTo field.
How can I assign from there, a new staff people?

Hello
1. You need to follow instructions here docs.joomdonation.com/helpdeskpro/plugins/assign-ticket
2. Also, go to Helpdesk Pro -> Configuration, click on Options button in the toolbar. Make sure the user group which the account belongs to has Assign Ticket permission set to Yes
Then check it again. It should work
