Display only Specific (default) Category and its sub categories was created by RC
Hi Tuan,
We want to enable frontend submitting of events by our customers.
In the Menu-item type 'Submit Event' we can choose the default Category, but all the other categories are also visible in the form.
Is it possible that only the default category is visible for our customer?
In other words: We don't want the customer to see/choose other categories than his own.
We know that there is an option in the configuration tab "Submit Event form fields" where you can show more categories or not. But that isn't the solution for the label Category in the form. There you still can choose between all the activated categories.
Can you help us with this? TiA (again!!!)
Regards Ron

Hello Ron
That could be handled by Submit Event Access Level setting of the category. Basically, for the category which you want to allow submit events to, set it to access level of the user
For other categories, try to set Submit Event Access Level to a custom access level like Special. That will prevent users from select these categories while submit events from frontend
