I've created a custom field for my event. The event is a fundraiser motorcycle ride. The field allows the user to check "Passenger" if the rider/registrant will be adding bringing a passenger (+$20).

All works well, however, If the rider brings a passenger, I also need to collect some info on the passenger (name/email).

What's the best way to implement this?

Hi Gilles

Unfortunately, right now Event Booking doesn't allow conditional custom fields, so the "custom fields" cannot appear "automatically" when you check on checkbox. In this case, I think you still need to create these custom fields and place them in the form so that users can enter name and email of passenger if needed !

Conditional custom fields is a nice feature and will be added to the extension from version 1.3.4

Thanks Tuan,

I changed the type to "textbox" with appropriate size and it looks good.

Too bad about the functionality not being present yet. It's easy for registrants to forget entering this info if a passenger is riding. I do understand that it's a bit tricky to code. :)

when are you expecting to release 1.3.4?
