I am not sure if I have configured the system correctly and this is responsible for the issues people who try and register for events have at times. Here is the situation:
If a new user enters a Username, passwords and event registration data; they are created as a user in Community Builder and register for the event.
If They are already a CB user and enter a Username and passwords, they are asked to enter Event Registration data (mandatory fields) and they get an invalid user message.
If they are a Cb user but do not enter a Username and Passwords but do enter registration data then the are registered for the event.
Can you shed any light onto exactly what needs to be entered in which particular scenario?
