Tax not refreshing at checkout in response to use info was created by Jason McMahon
When you are at the invoicing stage of the event booking system, the tax system does not change to reflect user input that can alter tax on that page. Honestly I am not sure if the TAX was ever dynamic on the checkout page..
My Belgium client holds events throughout the EU. A (for example) Spanish business with a valid VAT number does not have to pay VAT on a Spanish hosted event. So when I first enter the page, I can see the VAT of 21% for Spain based event, but if I get a spanish guest who enters SPAIN as their Country and adds (any) VAT number. At this point, VAt should detect the user is from Spain and recalculate VAT at 0
Is there a way (an ajax call) to recalculate the tax at the checkout stage, is this already built into the system? I am hoping as you already have the Eu vat caculations in the backend somewhere (but not really suitable for use as that uses PERSONS country, not location of the event)
I can add a script for OnChange to the VAT field and Country field to trigger this BUT if I just refresh the page it will lose field values - I am hoping there may already be a way to refresh JUST the tax and invoice amount already on that page?
As an aside, I notice in the database you had COUNTRY as a field for 'Locations' but seem to have removed it? This would still be very useful.

Hello Jason
It depends on your tax setup. Please submit a support ticket sending us:
1. Super admin account of your site
2. Link to the page which we can register for your events and see this tax calculation
3. Explain how tax should be calculated
I will check your current setup and then guide you with the right setup
Regards,
Tuan
