Create packages to purchase events was created by channing meyer
Hello OSTeam:

We have a series of 12 workshop events and want to create three levels of packages that will also calculate a discount depending on which package is chosen. The customer would be able to choose which events they want.

Example
Gold level - purchase 12 workshops of their choice, get 15% off
Silver level - purchase 6 workshops of their choice, get 10% off 
Bronze level - purchase 3 workshops of their choice, get 5% off
And of course, a customer can just choose one workshop.  Might get an Early Bird special.

Finally, if this can be done, the way we have set up a test system is the customer, after the purchase, would get a zoom link from the Thank You email template to the specific workshop in Event Booking.  I have tested with single workshops, no problem.  But there would have to be a way to autopopulate the email template with their chosen workshops and corresponding zoom link.

We like the Event Booking features.  We might be able to use a shopping system but I like the the reminders, the ability to limit registrants, early bird discounts, cut off date, etc.  Perhaps you have a better idea.

So I think after reading through some of your documentation, this is not as big a deal. The Discount Bundle has been updated to allow for quantities of event one can purchase.

One wish would be to be able to do a percentage discount as opposed to a dollar figure. Some of the workshops have different costs and better in this case to have discount I think. Tried it and it did not work, defaulted to dollar figure. Can a percentage be added or how can I modify?

Regarding the Thank You email, as I have yet to test this, am assuming that since each workshop/event has a custom email, if someone should sign up for multiple events, they will receive all the custom emails for each workshop/events and reminders for the workshops/events they signed up for too. Is this correct? Please note, each workshop/event has its unique Zoom link for each individual work shop.

Hello Channing

1. As of right now, we do not support discount bundle by percent, so for now, you can only use fixed discount amount only

2. For shopping cart mode, unfortunate, as of right now, we only send a single email for the whole registration, not separate emails (each email for a registration). If you want to have different email for each registered event, customization to the code which sending email will be needed

Thank you.  If this can be done, would you be able to?  If so, when do you think it could be completed and how much?  We are hoping to begin selling soon but may be able to wrok around your schedule.

Hello

1. For sending different emails for each event on shopping cart, it will cost you 60$. It will take us 2 to 3 days to get it completed

2. For discount by percent, I have to look at the code again. The discount by percent will be calculated base on price of selected events with it's quantity, correct?

Let us proceed with the email.
For the discount that is applied to the discount package, we would be able to discount each package as needed. Since some of the events will be different prices, we would simply discount the total of the selected events within each package.

Example: Person "A" purchases Bronze level which includes 3 workshops of their choice. The total is $45, they get 5% off, final total is $38
Person "B" purchases Bronze level which includes 3 workshops of their choice. Their total is $60, they get 5% off, final total is $57.

Each discount page we create would have a different %.

Yes. I think it is clear. I have to look at it again but I think the price for discount by percent could be around 80$ to 100$
