Auto-filling same information for multiple events on a single order was created by David
Hi,
I want to figure out if it’s possible to achieve some auto-filling functionality that would make my users’ lives easier, but our use case takes some explanation: We run camps for kids throughout the year. Sometimes, a user will want to register one child in many camps - say all the camps for the summer season, so 10-14 camps. So their registration form contains 10-14 sets of fields for the 10-14 events. However, if they only have one child to register for the summer, the information will be the same for all of these which means we have users needing to type out the same information many times.I am wondering if Event Booking comes with some functionality to handle this case so users don’t have to type the same information out many times. I hope this was clear.
Thanks,
David

I've attached an image of group member auto-fill settings for context. No group member data gets pre-filled at the moment.
I also have my events Registration Type set as "Both Individual and Group Registrations"

Hello David
For this case, maybe you can use shopping cart? Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Activate Shopping Cart config option to Yes
Now, users can add multiple events to cart and register for all of these events within a single checkout. It would make the process in your case simpler
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Sorry, that is not what I meant. I mean the following:
A parent wants to sign one kid up for two or more camps.
The registrant details portion of the form will ask details for two children (for the two different camps/events).
Since they are the same, is there a way I can auto-fill the registration details for multiple events with the same registrant info?
I've attached a sample cart image and a the registrant details portion of the form.
My problem is that if a user want to sign their single child up for ten camps, they have to type the kid's info out many times and it's frustrating for them,
Thanks!
David

Hi again,
Just checking in to see if you have any suggestions or if this is something that I should try to implement myself with JavaScript or something.
Take care,
David

Hi David
Sorry I missed your last post. This is something the extension does not support, so Yes, somehow, you will have to try to handle it using javascript as you mentioned
