API Key Issue ?

Hello

We can easily see what's wrong with the API Key from web browser console. You can send me the link to the page which map is being displayed and error is showing. I will take a look at it and tell you what's wrong

The error message from Google is You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started

Look like you need to provide billing information to them to use their API

I struggled with this for months!!!!! Until I discovered by sheer incident that rather then putting in

*.domain.com/*

I put in

domain.com/*

and now it works like a charm..

Thanks for your reply. I found that to be a hit or miss. I don't know why. Some sites work with it and others don't. I also put in the google verification file into the root of the domain.

What I'm battling with now, and have concluded after 2 hours of time, is that Events Booking requires both text in the Location AND Coordinates field. If I put in only the Address, the Map displays the location off the coast of Africa. If I put in only the Coordinates, the map does not appear on the Front-End.

Also, pressing the "Get location from address" does not appear to be functioning. Additionally, the map in the Location set up does not appear. This is irrelevant to me, as long as the map shows on the Front-End. Does the map show in the Location set-up in your system?

You will need to enter both address and coordinates of the location to have the location shown properly on the map

If the API Key is properly setup, when you enter address, the system will have an auto suggestion populated to allow you to select a valid address and coordinates will be populated automatically

In your case, Get Location from address does nothing indicates that there is still something wrong with the Google Map API Key setup

Actually that would be the same for me then too. Back to the drawing board with this API keys!!!

To avoid confusing, maybe you should switch to use opentreetmap? Events Booking support OpenStreetMap and no key is needed

I have switched to OpenStreetMap and tested.

I have the same issue as with the Google Map, when typing the address, there are no suggestions coming up and clicking on the "Get location from address" does not work either.
