We have 5 different event categories and most events are free. We have made use of the submit event form fields and the simple layout to make the event creation layout as simple as possible. We have two infrequently used event categories that may require payment from registrants. At present if we include the price field in the layout, being a global option it appears in all of our free category creation layouts. We are using separate menu items to add events for each category. Is it possible to specify that the price field appear (as override) on submit event - simple layout for specific menu ID's?
In a more general sense, it would be nice if we could have submit event form fields created and applied (as override) at the menu level so we could have different event form field options applied for each menu item.
Lastly as an unrelated question, is it possible in the event calendar layout to highlight (e.g. different background colour?) those events that the user has already registered for.?
