You replied to an earlier thread:

2. We use the os_offline to have registrants "send us a check". They show up as a red-circled "X" in Payment Status" I had expected that clicking this would set it to a green check and post the current datetime to the database. This does not happen. How do we indicate that we have received payment from the registrant?

=> From version 1.2.0 of Event Booking, registrants can cancel their registration and now, the registration record will have 3 status :

- Pending
- Paid
- Cancelled.

Thats the reason we could not make the red icon click able to mark the registration record as paid. To change the status of the registration record, you need to click on the record to edit it, set the status for it and then save the record. The second way is that check on the checkbox next to each record, the press submit Publish button .
I am very confused. When I look at a registrant by clicking on the name, I do not see any status information. There is nothing containing "Pending","Paid" or "Cancelled". I just downloaded and reinstalled the most recent version a few minutes ago.

NOTE: When I then clicked Save, the BUG that I previously reported in posting #6063, "CUSTOM FIELDS PROBLEM" occurred again. A duplicate record was written to t0r4j_eb_field_values for the custom field in this registrant's record. PLEASE LOOK AT THIS.

I then tried the second method - "publishing". This gave me a green check. I looked at the record with phpMyAdmin and the published item was set to 1. Is this how you know the payment was made? How do you indicated "Cancelled"?

If the way we must indicate payment is made is by "publishing" the registrant, I would like to ask that you post the datetime to payment_date when we "publish" and clear that field when we "unpublish. A record of payment and when made is very important.
