Email notifications was created by nmron
I have a questions please -
I am logged in as a registered user and I create a new event on the front end.
I want to be notified when someone registers for this event.
I have set " Send Notification Email to event creator " which is supposed to send me an email when somebody registers.
However what happens is it send me an email when I create the event and NO email when someone registers.
Do I have the settings wrong, what should I do to get notified when someone registers ?
thanks

Hi
With that setting, you should receive notification email when someone register for your event. Please note that the email will only be sent if:
1. You use offline payment method for the registration
2. If you use online payment method such as PayPal, you need to make payment for the email to be sent. If you use PayPal for example and don't make payment, no email will be sent
Regards,
Tuan

Hi
I am not using a payment system.
I only want a notification when someone registers for an event. I have got that working OK.
However, EB is sending me a notification when I creat an event - I do NOT want that.
So how do I stop those notifications please ?
What needs to be set ?
thanks

Hi
Go to Events Booking -> Emails & Messages, look at Submit Event Email Messages, empty the value of the two items:
- User Email Subject
- Admin Email Subject
After that, email won't be sent

Hi
I followed your instructions re emptying the fields in Emails & Messages.
However now I get a blank message each time I submit an event - it has the title - "New event subission received"
Note the misspelling of submission which is the same as the label on the Submit Event Email Messages page, proving that the application is still sending out these notifications.
How do I stop these messages when I create a new event ?
thanks

Hi
Please go to Events Booking -> Emails & Messages, look at Submit Event Email Messages tab, find the message User Email Body and Admin Email Body, make sure you enter the message you want there and it should work as expected
Maybe these messages are empty at the moment and it causes that issue?
