Access to event for non registered users was created by wirex
Hi,
I'm trying to restrict access to event to registered users only. I have set event access and registration access to Register and it works as expected.
The issue I have is when user is not logged in but he know full url of event he got message: "The event you are trying to access is invalid". I would like to redirect user to login page in such case. Is there any way to do so?
Thanks, Wirex

I think you should be able to make it work without modifying the extension's code
1) Try changing the default [The event you are trying to access is invalid] message in the Translation tab to something like
[You need to be logged in to register for this event. <br /><a href="/your-login-page/' class="btn">CLICK HERE TO LOG IN</a>]
2) Alternately, your could use an extension like NoNumber's free Modules Anywhere to call a log-in module and insert it into a custom module position in place of the <a ......... /a> above.

Hi James,
Thanks for your idea. I thought about just changing translation but then in case of real error user will see this message and this can be a bit confusing
Another thing is that "The event you are trying to access is invalid" is show as a message in body of my template and could be overlook by user, specialty on mobiles.
Hope there is another way to redirect user to login page

So much for me and my good ideas
Hope you're able to find some other way of making it work. Maybe the Devs will consider adding official support for it.
