Customize Registration Form & View list for assist

Hi Tuan,
sorry to bother you but i need some clarifications:
Customize Registration Form
I need to cancel for few group events some customized field from the registration form but i was not able to find the way to hide/show them! I follow what the documentation said but i'm not able to find Billing Fields Setting and Group Member Fields tab
View list for assistant
in my pre sales questions i asked you if it was possible to assign the view list to a specific group (manager in my case and they can see but don't make changes)
You replied was possible...but how??

Might be a case of outdated documentation -- I think Tuan has made so many changes lately, that documentation is lagging behind (and has got me looking for no-longer-exiting buttons and tabs before too).

Go into Custom Fields, then click on the specific custom field that you want to edit. Scroll down to the bottom, and set [Display In] to whatever you want (eg. Individual Registration Billing Form).

Note: this will affect this Field in ALL events site-wide.
If you need it to appear in some group events and not others, you will have to custom pick the event(s) that you WANT it to appear in the [EVENT] box at the top of the detail screen for that specific custom field (in addition to setting the [Display In] option). Any time you create a new event that needs this field, you'll have to return here and add it to the existing selections in the [EVENT] box (remember to hold CTRL when selecting additional [EVENTS] or you'll loose all your old selections!).

thanks for your replay but what you said is terrible! I can not manage 6/7 fields everytime i publish a new event, this means become crazy. I will try with categories, lets see if i can manage.
One more question: i'm not able to find out the CB sync tab (the tab where it's possible to configure the fields between event booking and Community builder). Can you explain me how can i do it??

Maybe Tuan can provide some customization for your site that will help the Fields to function better. ????
Actually, what would work *really well* would be the ability to toggle [Events] between "Show in these events" and "Exclude from these events" like the Joomla core does. Hey Tuan -- FEATURE REQUEST!!!

As for CB, I unfortunately don't have any experience with it -- Tuan or another user will have to give you a hand with that one.

Hi Costa

1. For CB fields mapping , you will need to do two things:

- Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option "Integration" set it to "Community Builder"

- After that, go to Events Booking -> Custom Fields, edit custom field, you will see a property called Field Mapping. You can choose the field in CB which will be mapped with this field in Events Booking and it should work well

2. For managing custom fields for Events, I realize this limitation and will improve it in 1.7.4 or 1.7.5. For now, allow me to finish version 1.7.3 first - this week - which bring support for twitter bootstrap 3

I am working very hard to improve our extensions these days, we will come up with a better version soon
