Front End Event Entry - No Need for Registration

I want users to be able to enter events from the front end, but I do not want them to enable registration. In fact, all I need is the top part of the Basic tab. How can I modify the front end data entry form so none of the registration fields are available and so none of the additional tabs (other than basic) are available?

In this case, you will have to customize the code yourself. The file you need to customize is components/com_eventbooking/views/event/tmpl/form.php

Does that file only control Front-end Event submission or both front end and back end?
