Custom fields not appearing for group registration

Custom fields not appearing for group registration was created by blueargylemedia
Hi, I have events set up for group or individual registration and I have tried each of the 'display in' types for the custom fields set up. No matter what I do, all the fields show up in the checkout and I never get an option to fill out any additional member data no matter how many I add to the cart. Additionally the custom fields I fill out do not appear in the registrants list. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi
I had a similar problem with custom fields and their values not appearing as selected on the summary page.
In my case, the reason my custom field values were getting messed was that I was using the same "name" for the different fields under "field management", even though they each had different titles.
Changing the "name" so each field was unique solved the problem. Sounds straight forward enough, but it was not obvious at the time to me as the fields were all related and I thought "name" could be used kind of like a category.
If you are using teh same "name" for your different custom fields, try changing them so they are unique. That might help solve your issues.

Thanks! All the field 'Names' are different from any of the custom or built in fields. I just discovered something new too. One of the fields is a fee filed and the total shows correctly on the confirm order page but then the confirmation page and the registrant area in the back end has the incorrect total as, it only shows the fee for the event and not the paid custom fields. So very frustrated this evening

=> It seems you are using Shopping Cart feature. Using this feature won't allow you to collect detail information of registrants. So in this case, you will need to disable shopping cart and use Individual + Group registration option.
Please go to Event Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Activate Shopping Cart, set it to No. After that, it should work as expected .
