Hello,

When a user on the front end clicks the "My Submitted Events" link they get a page that says "There are no events in the selected category".

In doing some testing I logged into the front end using the Admin account and it can see the events that have been submitted by admin. Changing another user to have Administrator and Super User privileges didn't show any different result.

I have ticket 3856 opened on this but thought I would throw it out here to see if anybody else was or is seeing this issue.

Hi

The menu item only show events which you submitted from front-end . If you submitted events from front-end and login to front-end to access to that menu item, you won't see any events.

Is my explanation clear ?

Tuan

Right... So as a user, I log into the front end and submit an event. I can see that event listed in my event list on the front and back end and everything seems good.

That same users clicks "My Submitted Events" from the front end and and gets a message that says "There are no events in the selected category."

If I login as the admin user to the frontend and submit an event and then click the "My Submitted Events" I can see the event that was submitted by Admin.

Here is a screen shot of what the user gets on the Front End when they submit an event.

I suspect that this is the first sign of trouble...

Ok so some additional information...

On the Configuration\General tab on the back end there is an option: Users/Groups can add events from front-end

I had this set to a single number which was a group ID.

I just changed this to be individual user IDs and now it seems to be working. I cant see events already submitted but I can see new ones.

So maybe something in the code for the display events, is not making use of the group like it should.

Adding each user that can add an event is a work-around for me but it would be much easier to just be able to put in the group ID
