It shall be nice to have an option in the configuration to put all the reserve system in maintenance mode with a custom message, i.e. do not allow reservations while in maintenance mode. This way you can prevent unwanted changes during web migration, staging update, ... Something like joomla´s Site Offline but only for Event Booking.
