When the short description is all there is, it's easy to forget to copy it to the long description. Right now, if long description field is empty, nothing shows on the details page for that event.
When the detailed description field is empty, could you show the short description field? Anyone wanting a blank long description could put in a space or something to make that happen, although I can't think why they would want to do that.
