This is one use case I encountered lately. I am currently using the ticket types (was using custom fields before), to set multiple different price category for an event. These categories are event dependent.
However users are requesting a more streamlined way to register to multiple events at the same time. Shopping cart would be great to use, however they need to be able to select ticket type + number for each event that they're registering to. On top of that, if they are a member of the site, they are allowed a 100% discount 1 member ticket type.
Maybe this is something already available, but so far I haven't found the way to enable ticket types + cart at the same time.
