at first..this module works great for us as a rc-race organisation to manage the race-series and collect starting fee from the racers. Especially with paypal it´s geat to have neary no work while racers book events...
We have two things to make it a bit smarter in using - dont´t know wether it is or can be realized:

Is it posisble to send registrant a mail if status is changed: for instance from pending to paid (if I change it after a look @our bank...) or from paid to chancelled.... so registrants easy know that their paiment was done or chancelled accepted...

Otherways we have a two stage registration: The previlleged users (special user group under the registered group) can register a week earlier than the others - after the week i must chenge the permissions to registered.. Can such a two level booking start easy implemented?
