I think the custom field feature is great but I think it would be better if when creating or editing an event we could select the custom field to be added to it. So we could select a custom field from a drop down and then it would add another custom field until all desired are added.
The way it is now we select the custom field and then add the events to it. If I could add it to the parent event and update the children events this would be great.
In my case I have a lot of recurring events so it is not practical to use the drop down with hundreds of events. It takes forever to scroll down to the event I wish to add the field .
This would actually be better for me than adding custom fields to categories.
