Payment option to create events

One feature that is glaring by it's absence is the ability to manage who can create events. What I am looking for at least 3 of my sites is the ability to:

• Allow Registered users, or certain user levels (e.g. Authors) to create FREE events or events under a particular category - at no cost


• Charge registered users to create X events per period. e.g. €20 gives them 20 event credits. these could be indefinite or time managed (e.g. 20 credits to be used up in 6 months or lost.

Has this been considered for a near future release? It would give the component a whole new market.

It occured to me that if a credits option can be created for users. e.g. 0 credits = cannot create events (default), that Payment form could be integrated to work with setting the credit value for that user based on payments made. Just a thought.
