One Event for different languages - multi-language

Hi,
is it possible to have one event in different languages?

I have installed the current version 1.5.2 and the multi-language support is great!
I will have my site in Englisch and German. And I need the number of persons for an event to be limited.

If I want to translate an event at the moment I have to create one event in Englisch and one in German.
But this means that I double the number of participants. Is it possible to have e.G. 100 persons for event and not 50 persons for the German and 50 persons for the English translation. Because I think it should only be a translation and not a completely new event.

Is there a way to configure an event like that?
