Add custom class to inputs was created by Russell Leigh
How can we add custom classes to the Sort By and Items Per Page drop downs?
I want to add the bootstrap 4 classes "form-control" to the select inputs and also the select input of product options
This is very hard to integrate in to a bootstrap 4 template...

Hello Russell,
EShop has the option to allow you to turn the bootstrap 4 if your site is using bootstrap 4 template.
Please go to the back-end of your site, then go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Layout tab, at "Twitter Bootstrap Version", choose Twitter Bootstrap version 4, then Save the configuration and test again.
I hope this is useful.
Sincerely, Giang

This is not what I asked and is not useful and it's taken you literally weeks to reply. I have nothing but stress with all the joomdonation plugins.
The proper bootstrap 4 classes for an input is "form-control" these classes are not added even when it is set to Bootstrap 4 in the config
I want to be able to add these classes or any custom class to all inputs
Please read the bootstrap docs and correct your code accordingly
getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/components/forms/#form-controls
