Hey there,

I'm customizing the checkout process a little and therefore I need to read-out the current order-id in the "shipping_method.php".

Can you help?

Hello Philipp,

In the shipping_method.php, the order-id is not existed. The order-id is only generated after the step 6 confirm.php of checkout.

Thanks giang,

I studied the confrim.php but im having trouble generating the order-id in Shipping-method.php. Can u help me how to generate the order-id in shippping-method?

Sorry, that is impossible. Order can be only generated after final step.

hey giang,

okey, that makes sense. But the order-id isn't necessary, in fact the product-id would be just fine! It should be possible to read-out this one, no?

Hi Philipp,

There are multiple products in the cart at checkout and you can get ID of any products that you want from any steps of checkout.
