Categories showing child products ? [SOLVED] was created by Richard
Hi All
I have a category called gifts that has featured products, and spotlight products as child sub categories.
The trouble is when I select the gifts category, in the view I can see all the products in the sub categories as well ! I cannot find a way of turning this off, I am not sure why I would want to see these items in the parent category, that is why I put them in a child one
I actually wanted to created my own featured products and spotlight products categories as main categories but doid not want them on the front page, but there seems no way of doing this as the front page module automatically shows all main categories
So , for now, anyone know how to not show all child items in the parent category view ?

Hello Richard,
There is an option to turn it off. Please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Layout tab, at "Show products in all category levels?", choose No then it should work.
Sincerely, Giang
