What are Customer Groups for?
I have read documentation at
eshop.joomdonation.org/docs/index.html#!..._end_customer_groups
but it does not actually explain what they can be used for.
I would like to be able to assign to customer groups sitewide and product discounts. For example, if i create a customer group called Wholesale, then any customer in this group gets 25% off the normal price.
Or say i have an online sports store, i create a group called Football Group, that anyone in this group gets discounts off selected products like footballs and football related items but not other items i could have in my store like golf, tennis etc.
Please explain how to achieve this
Also,
I would like people to buy a subscription plan on my site through my payplans extension and then they automatically get changed Customer Group in eshop. I have contacted Payplans to see how this can be achieved.
