Categories Access Level was created by Dim Galan
Hi Dam,
I am facing the following with categories management in front-end
Groups
Public
- Registered
-- Cat 1
--- Cat 1 Manager
-- Cat 2
--- Cat 2 Manager
Access Level
Cat 1 : Cat 1 Manager
Cat 2 : Cat 2 Manager
Special: Cat 1 Manager, Cat 2 Manager
Menu
Edocman -> Manage Categories, Access -> Special
Menu module
Access -> Special
Issue:
Although the following applies, in the front-end they both can see each others folders!
Folder1
Access Groups: Cat 1, Cat 1 Manager
Folder2
Access Groups: Cat 2, Cat 2 Manager
What am I missing here?

Replied by Mr. Dam on topic Categories Access Level
Hi Dim,
In function: Manage Categories at both frontend and backend, we don't have option to check access level of users with categories. When user can access to "Manage categories" layout, they will able to manage all categories in Edocman system
Thanks
Dam
