The Edocman developer team are proud to announce the release of Edocman 1.19.3. This is a fourth release for the 1.19.x series of Edocman with new feature and improvements.
Whats new in Edocman 1.19.3
1. Improve Router function
In this version, we improve Edocman routing function to make component to work well on Joomla 4, some deprecated functions are removed or replaced too.
2. Add Cache in Edocman Categories Tree module
New parameters are added into Edocman Categories Tree module
- Cache: You can enable Cache in this module to reduce database queries.
- Direct link to categories: This is configure option to allow you to setup direct links to all categories, not just latest child-categories as old versions.
3. Fix issue on Edocman notification plugin when using Ajax Upload
From this version, even you use Ajax Upload method at both Frontend and Backend sides, the notification emails will still be sent normally.
4. Add option to inherit access level of parent category when adding sub-categories
Now, when you add new sub-categories (Backend side), you can select option to inherit access from parent-category. Thus, you won't need to select access level or select access group(s) for new category anymore.
5. Add option to allow administrator to upload file or selecting existing file when adding new document
At Backend side, when you add new document, you can select one existing physical file on your server or uploading new file for document.
6. Fix some issues on Joomla4 beta
Some Joomla4 incompatible core functions have been removed or replaced
